2027 Year 7 enrolments

All Victorian government secondary schools follow the statewide Year 6 to 7 placement timeline. The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child at a Victorian government secondary school.

Applications for Year 7 open from Monday 20 April 2026.

Victorian government primary schools manage the Year 7 placement process for their Year 6 students in accordance with the timeline.
At the start of Term 2, primary schools will distribute information packs to parents and carers.

What you need to do:

1. Download the Year 6 to 7 Placement Information pack from Moving from primary to secondary school (available from Monday 20 April 2026). The pack includes guidance on the application process.

2. Submit an enrolment application by Friday 8 May 2026.

If your child attends a government primary school, all communication about your child’s placement must be with the Year 6 Coordinator or Transition Coordinator at your child’s primary school until a placement is offered.
If your child is home schooled or attends a non-government primary school, you may submit the application form directly to our school by Friday 8 May 2026.

3. You will receive notification of your child’s Year 7 placement offer on Wednesday 24 June 2026.

Enrolment applications submitted after Friday 8 May 2026 will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Enrolment Policy.
